Ten seeds were placed on the surface of rich soil in a pot and not long after they began to sprout.
References show that growing watermelons is not easy as the plant requires a lot of space, sun and a lot of nutrients.
I have transplanted the watermelon shoots from the nursery onto a piece of spacious land before finding out this plant don't like transplanting.
Luckily, the spacious area which this plant is transplanted is powdery, dusty, chalky and soft, a soil condition watermelons like.
